• About Wendall Holmes

Wendall Holmes’ roots in Sandtown Baltimore were planted at an early age in the 1500 block of Presstman Street where his grandparents lived. Later in life, he moved his wife and family of five
back to Sandtown for several years. In 2011, he was inspired to return a third time and give back to a community whose rich history helped shape his creative propensities. Wendall is a servant leader at Newborn Community of Faith Church in the 21217-zip code and serves on three community activist boards. For Wendall, CJPark imagines a time when community was nurturing and all inclusive.
